As previously highlighted, there will be no YIGAF this weekend. If you’re looking for something to read, please check out Andrew Lipstein’s fun read in Harper’s Magazine:
Next week, we’ll have a brief YIGAF on Sunday morning that wraps up a few lines of thinking from this past week.
However, my dear wife is abandoning me in my hour of need to help our oldest make his own move. As a result, I’ll be driving from Orlando to Alexandria (where I’ll be for the next two months) on Sunday, June 2nd. I finish my presentation at 9:35am and should be on the road by 10am. It’s a 12-hour drive, and I’ll have two dogs with me, so I may bail out somewhere north of Fayetteville and sleep for the night… but with a little help from my friends, I just might make it in one run. It would be nice to sleep in my “own” bed for a change.
Regardless, let’s go for a Jack Kerouac-inspired “On the Road.” Ask me anything starting at 10:30am, June 2nd.
Please join this unpublished Twitter Spaces just for YIGAF subscribers. I can’t “stop” outsiders from joining, but I’m looking for quality over quantity. As a result, please use my unpublished Twitter account for this space (and please do not follow it):
